Honoring National Small Business Month

In this discussion, Jacob Robinson helps audiences—from students to executives—take bold action, lead with purpose, and turn adversity into momentum. Rejection, pain and despair only create a place from which to find resilience!  Drawing from multiple business successes, Jacob shares the process and effort to get started, successfully land funds, and build management teams, and then to execute the plans.

Jacob was inspired to create his highly unique theme park, Dig World, in 2017, when his son Pierce, who loves construction equipment, became permanently disabled from bacterial meningitis.  Jacob’s journey started with 248 rejections for funding before he found a yes. He later got a deal with Robert Herjavec on ABC’s Shark Tank.
