    Correction Over Crisis
Why the long-predicted "Silver Tsunami" is a correction, not a crisis, and what a faster, more founder-first approach to dealmaking really looks like.

In this fireside chat, Tule Creek Capital founder Dominic Dupré reframes the long-predicted "Silver Tsunami" of business transitions as a correction, not a crisis. Drawing on his own family-business M&A journey and his work running a family office, he shares an operator's perspective on why a more consultative, founder-first approach moves deals faster and smoother. It's a perspective worth considering, not a pitch.

    About Dominic Dupreé

Dominic Dupreé is the founder of Tule Creek Capital, a Gulf Coast investment firm focused on industrial, infrastructure and environmental services in the lower middle market. Raised in a family of successful entrepreneurs, he charted a path in oilfield services early in his career. The market had different plans. The lessons stayed.

What seemed like a dying dream led him to join the family business during a challenging time, where he led the turnaround of a failing business unit, staying on as the company scaled and ultimately exited.

Today, he looks for investments with an operator's mindset, with a clear focus on culture, leadership, and continuity. Having been on the seller side, he approaches founders differently, more consultative, less transactional.

Although now based in Texas, his identity remains rooted in South Louisiana, shaped by his family and a lifelong connection to the outdoors.
